Kitchen Renovation Breaston, Derbyshire.
The ideal open-plan kitchen-diner is a light-filled, casual space where cooking and socialising combine.
Knocking down internal walls is common practice when it comes to renovation projects. Taking out an internal wall is a great way to open up smaller rooms to create large family spaces.
This kitchen renovation project in Breaston had a separate kitchen and dining room, which had become dated. By removing 2 non-loadbearing walls, it was easy to create a large useable space, leading onto a separate utility and toilet area.
Our first task was to design a kitchen layout that worked for the new open-plan space. Once our client was happy with the layout, we provided a range of material samples and colours, for the client to take home and peruse.
Browse through the above images to see how this kitchen renovation project evolved.
Notice how different the finished result of the modern shaker kitchen is from the initial design by selecting different materials and colour schemes.
If you have a kitchen that is not working for you, we would love to help.
